Bawdeswell Heath - birch woodland in a shallow valley
Bawdeswell Heath is about 4 miles from The Fox Lyng
A delightful area of largely birch woodland but with good oak as well. It has a seasonal stream through it and is on the southern side of a slight rise to the ridge which looks across to Billingford and the mill.
It is easy walking with a few mild slopes. Poop scoop is advisable.
There are pigs in a neighbouring field so leads if in any doubt.
